Jane Ellen Reed, age 70, of Taneytown, Maryland, passed away on December 30, 2023, in her sleep after a long heroic battle with Alzheimer’s.  Jane was predeceased by mother and father, Robert and Pauline Shank, sisters Susan Shankle and Robin Bushnell. 

Jane is survived by husband and best friend of 52 years, Joseph Reed, daughters and sons-in-law Cassandra and Scott Bush and Natasha and Scott Osvalds, sisters Terrie Masser and Lisa Williams, 7 grandchildren, Brendan, Ashleigh and husband Justin, Jacob, Kendall, Kyle, William and Joseph, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Jane's wishes were to not have an immediate service. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
