Janet Mae Lang, 92, of Westminster, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2025 at the BridgingLife Dove House. Born April 24, 1932 in Smallwood, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late William Talbert Poole and Catherine Elizabeth Saylor Poole.

Before retiring she worked at Websters Sewing Factory and Gould. She enjoyed BINGO, supporting veterans and most of all spending time with her family. She was a lifelong member of Deer Park United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her children Butch Lang of Westminster, Linda K. Rill of Hampstead, Dennis L. Lang (Dottie) of Westminster and Kathy M. Jones Lang of Westminster, Wanda L. Lang of Westminster; 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her siblings Ruth Shipley, Edward Poole, Doris Leppo, Virginia Bailey and Richard Poole.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Friday, March 28, 2025 at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 East Main Street, Westminster, MD 21157.

Funeral service will begin at 12 p.m. with Rev. Jean Lee officiating.

Interment will follow at Deer Park Methodist Cemetery in Smallwood.
