Janice Lee Dews Obituary

Janice Lee Dews passed away peacefully at her home on November 13, 2025. Born February 19, 1943, she was daughter of the late Louis W. and Anna W. Phillips.

She was retired from English American where she worked in an administrative role. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her little dog Daisey. She was a member of Sandymount United Methodist Church and also belonged to the Maryland Eastern Star Chapter.

Her spirit will be kept alive by her 3 grandchildren Thomas W. Fisher, and Lindsey Fisher of Westminster, and Casey Dews of Greensboro; daughter and son-in-law Stephanie Fisher and Thomas J. Fisher, Jr. of Westminster, and son and daughter-in-law Walter G. Dews and Jenifer Long of Glen Burnie, and her beloved sister Francis Joyce Reed and predeceased brother-in-law James R. Reed of Rosedale, and she was known as Aunt Janey to several of her nieces and nephews.

The family will recieve friends from 10 - 11 a.m. at Fletchers Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 East Main Street, Westminster on Friday, November 21, 2025, funeral service will begin at 11a.m. Interment will follow at Glen Haven Cemetery in Glen Burnie, beside her husband the late Walter G. Dews Sr. of Pasadena.
