Jeannette E. Taylor, 85, of Reisterstown, formerly of Westminster, died Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at BridgingLife Dove House. Born April 14, 1939 in Troy, MS, she was the daughter of the late Wilma (Reeves) Elliott and James V. Elliott. She was the wife of the late James E. “Jim” Taylor.
Before retiring she worked as a Unit Secretary at Carroll County General Hospital. She was a member of Liberty Church, enjoyed singing in a band and working with people.
She is survived by daughter Teresa L. Mitchell and husband Gary, brother James C. Elliott, grandchildren Jeannie and James Mitchell, 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter.
She was predeceased by a son Lonnie Groves and sister Nancy Ponn.
The family will receive friends on Monday, February 3, 2025 from 11 a.m. to 12 noon at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster. Funeral services will begin at 12 noon with Pastor Joe Ready officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg.
