Jeremy Allan Lapp, 37, of Taneytown, died Sunday, October 19,2025 from injuries received in an automobile accident on Arters Mill Road. Born April 18, 1988 in Westminster, he was the son of Jeffery Allan Lapp and Sheria Ann Bloom Lapp of Westminster.
He was employed at the Cossentino Company in Baltimore as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic. He graduated from Winters Mill High School in 2006. He enjoyed cars and motorcycles and loved building things. He and his son just finished building a go-kart together. He was loved by everyone, he was caring, and made friends easily.
Besides his parents he is survived by his significant other Jessica Laughman and their son Carter Allan Lapp of Taneytown; two brothers Jordan A. Lapp and wife Megan and Charles A. Lapp and wife Rachel; one sister Crystal A. Lapp; aunts and uncles Alice and Dave Williams, Carl and Alana Yelton, Ronnie and Ashley Yelton, Russell Lapp, Terri Funk and Debra Lapp; numerous nieces and nephews; extended family members Joe and Diana Laughman, Jake and Ceara Diehl and children; also survived by co-workers and friends.
The family will receive friends from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. on Friday, October 24, 2025 at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E Main Street, Westminster, MD.
Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with Chaplain Samuel Mann officiating. Inurnment will follow at Meadow Branch Cemetery.
