Joan Antonio Obituary

Joan Lee Antonio, 88, of Woodbine, died on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at the Dove House. Born on April 7, 1933 in New York, she was the daughter of the late Valentine A. Dietz and Alma Kebbel Dietz. She was predeceased by her husband John Antonio on July 15, 1985.

Before retiring Joan worked as a Dog Groomer. She was a member of the Ebenezer United Methodist Church OWLS, Red Hat Society, and a longtime member and past president of the association for Family and Community Education (f/k/a Homemakers). She enjoyed sewing and crafts.

She is survived by three children, James Antonio and wife Deanna of North Carolina, Douglas John Antonio of Chicago, and Janice Martin Freeland and husband Dave of Taneytown; four grandchildren, Joe Antonio, Zach Antonio, Brad Martin and wife Heather, and Sophia Antonio; and great-granddaughter Meadow Martin.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at later date.
