Joseph Neal Rohe Obituary

Joseph Neal Rohe, 82, of Westminster, died Wednesday, April 16, 2025. Born October 25, 1942 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Phyllis (Shipley) Rohe and Charles Rohe. He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Kathleen Rohe.

He retired after working in numerous roles for Baltimore Gas and Electric Company. He served in the Air Force and was a member of the American Legion Carroll Post No. 31 and VFW No. 467.  Joe enjoyed the stock market, telling jokes and was passionate about his country.

Besides his wife, he is survived by son Joseph M. Rohe and wife Deya of Colorado Springs, CO; daughter Inga C. Rohe and companion Emanuele Ottolenghi of Italy; a granddaughter Sophia Prevett, brother John Rohe and wife Mary, sister Patricia Eberling and husband William and son-in-law James Prevett. 

A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025 at 11:45 a.m. at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, 2930 Hanover Pike, Manchester, MD 21102. Inurnment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the National Shrine Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes, 16330 Grotto Road, Emmitsburg, MD 21727 or BridgingLife and mailed to BridgingLife Development Office, 200 Memorial Avenue, Westminster, MD 21157.
