Joyce Jane McKinney

Joyce Jane McKinney, 90, of Westminster, died Saturday, October 7, 2023.  Born June 11, 1933 in Smallwood, she was the daughter of the late Myrle (Myers) Ricketts and Clarence Ricketts.  She was the wife of the late Theodore “Ted” McKinney.

She was employed as a sales clerk and was an avid duck-pin bowler.  Joyce was a 1951 graduate of Westminster High School.

She is survived by daughter Judy May (Jeffrey) of Westminster, a step-son James F. McKinney of Union Bridge, siblings Mary Ellen Haifley, Charlene Gist and Sylvia Garheart, grandchildren Amanda Desmond, Kevin Huemmer, Melissa Mladjenovich, great-grandchildren Samantha, Casey, Daniel and Elizabeth.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.  Interment will be at Meadow Branch Cemetery.
