Judie Lorraine Ritchie

Judie Lorraine Ritchie, 83, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on Friday, June 21, 2024, at The Canopy at Duval Station. Born on October 18, 1940, in Brookline, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Douglas Burton and Catherine Wilcox. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James "Stan" Ritchie, and two brothers, Robin and Todd Wilcox.

She enjoyed quilting, her cherished dachshund Peanut and rooting for the Orioles and Ravens. No matter where she lived or worked throughout her life, she always considered Carroll County home.

She is survived by children John Keene of Staunton, Virginia, Joelle Keene of Jacksonville, Florida, Jeffrey (Sara) Keene of The Bronx, New York, and James Keene of Towson, Maryland. She was also blessed with loving stepchildren, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and an extended circle of lifelong friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 27, 2024, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Fletcher Funeral and Cremation Services, 254 East Main Street, Westminster, MD 21157. A graveside service will immediately follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg, MD.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Alzheimer's Association (https://act.alz.org) or Operation Welcome Home Maryland.
