Julia Ellen Becker, 81, of Taneytown, died Saturday, January 30, 2021, at Brinton Woods. Born February 19, 1940 in Westminster, she was the daughter of the late Mary (Little) Wagner and Truman Wagner. Twice married, she was the wife of the late Dean E. Sherfey and John Becker.
She worked various jobs at Bullock’s Restaurant, the Carroll County Sherriff’s Dept. and as a Nurse’s Aide at Carroll Hospital. She was a former member of Grace Lutheran Church, enjoyed shopping, and volunteering at the VFW in Westminster.
She is survived by sons Richard Sherfey of Taneytown and Jeff Sherfey and companion Andrea Gravelle of Westminster; a daughter Deborah Wolfe of Westminster; sister Janice Justice; 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Inurnment will be held at a later date at Baust Church Cemetery.
