Obituary
Kathryn D. Westbrook, 86, of Westminster, died Sunday, March 12, 2023, at her residence. Born November 22, 1936 in Detroit, MI, she was the daughter of the late Hazel (McKenzie) Ratz and Newton J. Ratz. She was the wife of the late Floyd E. Westbrook, Sr.
Before retiring she worked as a homemaker and in retail. She was a long time member of Friendship United Methodist Church in Falls Church, VA. She was an extraordinary mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by four children Linda (Jeffrey) Wild, Floyd Westbrook II, Craig (Alison) Westbrook, and Brian (Kelly) Westbrook; 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a brother Edward Ratz.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 31, 2023 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with her son, Floyd Westbrook officiating. Interment will be held at Arlington National Cemetery on Thursday, April 13, 2023.
