Kathy Diane Mason

Kathy Diane Mason, 61, of Union Bridge, passed peacefully, surrounded by family and friends, on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at the Dove House in Westminster, after a brief illness. Born on May 29, 1960 in Frederick, she was the daughter of Virginia Mae Erb and the late William Reagan Erb, Jr of Union Bridge. She is survived by both her mother and her husband Lloyd “Paul” Mason, Sr.

Kathy graduated from Francis Scott Key High School in 1978. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister. She married her childhood sweetheart on June 17, 1978. They were married for 44 years. She enjoyed coloring, DIY projects, mowing, animals, plants, sitting in her sunroom, and observing nature. She loved collecting porcelain dolls and rooster themed items. Family was very important to her and she enjoyed cooking for them.

In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by her four children, Laurie Ann Mason of Forest Hill, Lloyd “Paul” Mason, Jr. of Hanover, PA., Katie M Mason of Frederick, and Nick C Mason of Union Bridge; brother William R. Erb, III (Linda) of Union Bridge; her grand dog Marley, bird Venus, and cats Sweet Pea, Lucy, and Sebastian; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will receive friends and family on Saturday May 28 2022 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 East Main Street, Westminster. Services will begin at 3:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Bridging Life Hospice Development Office, 200 Memorial Avenue, Westminster, MD 21157. Locally known as Dove House.
