Kimberly “Kim” Louise Martin, 63, of New Windsor, Maryland, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2022 at University of Maryland Medical Center. Born July 14, 1959 in Baltimore, she was the stepdaughter of Fred Enders of New Windsor and daughter of the late Karen D. Enders of Westminster. She was the loving wife of Howard “Hank” J. Martin, who predeceased her in 2015, and a wonderful mother to her three daughters.
Kim was a graduate of Franklin High School in Reisterstown, MD, and Villa Julie College in Stevenson, MD. She was co-owner of Hank’s Lock and Key on West Main Street in Westminster and life member of the Westminster Elks Lodge #2277. She enjoyed gardening, needlework, reading, and spending time with her granddaughter.
In addition to her stepfather, she is survived by three daughters; Jessica and husband Joseph Lopatta of Westminster, MD, Hanna Martin of New York, NY, Katherine Martin and husband Davison Beetz of Alexandria, VA, her granddaughter Amy Barfoot of Westminster, MD, father-in-law Thomas D. Martin of Westover, MD, and uncle and aunt Charles and Carol Phillips of The Villages, FL.
Kim was predeceased by her sister, Kathy Phillips.
