Larry Wayne Bennett, Sr.

Larry Wayne Bennett, Sr. of New Oxford, PA, died Monday, July 21, 2025 at UPMC Hanover Hospital. Born September 27, 1952 in Tazewell, VA he was the son of the late Evelyn Marie Lester Bennett and Harold David Bennett.

He started out working as a plumber. He also did auto body work on the side. He retired from being a transit drive in PA. He enjoyed working on his cars and he loved his cars and motorcycles.

He is survived by his son Larry Wayne Bennett, Jr and wife Charity of Westminster; granddaughter Britney Bennett of Westminster; sister Martha Pohlhaus and husband Owen of Westminster; brother Dave Bennett of Westminster; sister Rose Wymer and husband Rob of Littlestown, PA; sister-in-law Wanda Bennett of Westminster and sister-in-law Lisa Bennett of Gardens, PA.; and longtime friend Les Kaufman.

He was predeceased by his brothers Harold Bennett, Danny Bennett and Jerry Bennett.
