Laura Elizabeth (Dodson) Lawrence, 35, of Westminster, passed Monday, February 19, 2024, at her residence.  Born April 14, 1988 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of John W. Dodson III and Belinda (Ford) Dodson of Taneytown. She was the beloved wife of Donald R. Lawrence III, her husband of 15 years.

She worked as a Nanny and Receptionist at Lorien Taneytown. She was a graduate of Francis Scott Key High School, class of 2006.  Laura enjoyed her girl’s weekends, concerts, dogs; especially pit-bulls and most of all, spending time with her nieces, nephews and children she was a Nanny to.

Besides her husband and parents, she is survived by brothers John Dodson IV (Mellissa) of Westminster and Michael Dodson (Pamela) of Ocean City, MD; father-in-law and mother-in-law Mike and Kim Evans, brother-in-law Tyler Lawrence (fiancé Kayla) and sister-in-law Rita Cherry (Tim), nieces and nephews Jay, Violet, Allie and Aubrey Dodson and Cameron and Paisleigh Cherry and her cherished dog Betty Rose.

The family will receive friends for a visitation on Saturday, March 2, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.  Celebration of Life Services will begin at 1 p.m.
