Lewis Franklin "Buddy Norris", Jr., 72, of Westminster died Friday, October 10, 2025 at home. Born October 5, 1953 in Bethesda, he was the son of the late Lewis Franklin Norris, Sr. and Doris Joan Waugh Norris. Survived by his wife of 49 years, Linda Miller Norris.

He graduated from Westminster High School in 1971. He was a member of the VFW and Eagles in Littlestown, PA. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, crabbing, camping, riding in the golf cart and listening to music by George Jones.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his children Sharry Lippy of Westminster, Billi Jo Beacham (David) of Manchester, Brian Shipley of Wesley Chapel, FL, Vicki Norris (David Tracey) of Parkton, JoAnn Klasmeier (James) of Manchester; sisters Barbara Raper of Manchester, Diane Klingler (Bunky) of Westminster, brothers Kenneth Norris (Bonnie) of Westminster; sister-in-law Michelle Norris of Hampstead; also survived by 8 grandchildren Brittany (Tony), Cru (Reese), Dalton (Victoria), Joseph , Andrew,  Joanna, Logan, Gavin and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a sister Virginia Jennings, brothers James Norris and William Mark Norris, brothers-in-law Larry Jennings and Tony Raper and nephew Kenneth “Little Kenny” Wayne Norris, Jr.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E Main Street, Westminster, MD.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at 12 noon at the funeral home, with Walt Feeser officiating.
