Linda Jane Hook, 67, of Westminster, died Saturday, May 1, 2021, at Carroll Hospital Center. Born October 24, 1953 in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Betty (Martin) Haines and Charles E. “Chick” Haines, Sr. She was the beloved wife of the late Warren L. “Butch” Hook.
Before retiring, Linda worked as a seamstress at Westminster Knit from 1971 until they closed. She most recently worked for Lewis Investment Company. She was a 1971 graduate of Westminster High School and enjoyed playing Bingo, going to Ocean City and spending time with family and friends. She was a mom to many.
She is survived by daughter Karrie Ann Hook and boyfriend Brian Schanken of Westminster; brother Charles E. “Chick” Haines, Jr. and wife Marie of Hampstead; brother-in-law Steve Snyder of Westminster and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a sister Sheila Snyder.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, May 5, 2021 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 6, 2021 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Deer Park Cemetery.
