On Feb. 4, 2022, Mark A. Yingling, age 62, passed away in his home where he felt most comfortable and at peace with his loving wife Patricia A. Yingling by his side. Born on Oct. 13, 1959, he was the son of the late Kenneth S. Yingling and Dolores Myers Yingling, and brother of the late Jeffrey Yingling.
Mark grew up in Westminster, MD., and graduated from Westminster High School. Mark worked hard all his life in the automotive industry, working as a mechanic and service manager at his father’s Westminster AMC/Jeep dealership. He then ran his own gas station and service repair center, and rounding out his career as a dedicated and well-loved salesman for Napa Auto Parts in Hanover, PA. He took great pride in loving the family he built, finding his greatest pleasures to be time spent at home with his wife and their loyal dog Vegas, and any opportunity to host a family picnic where he could be surrounded by family.
Besides his wife, he is survived by six children, Kassy Fisher, Michelle Booth, Moses Yingling, David Yingling, Ann Yingling, and Bradley Myers (Megan); siblings Sherry Reese (Jim), Randy Yingling, and Melissa Stone; 11 grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 East Main Street, Westminster. Inurnment will follow Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
