Mary Lou Dimler, age 78, of New Windsor, died Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at the Carroll Hospice Dove House. Mary Lou was the wife for 52 years of David Allen Dimler. She was born November 1, 1942 in Baltimore, Maryland to Richard T. Riggie, Jr. and Marie Riggie (nee: Carlisle).
Mary Lou was a graduate of St. James Business School and had been a medical secretary for many years. Later she was a cosmetologist aide working at several locations in Eldersburg and Westminster. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons: D. Brian Dimler (Jennifer) of Irmo, SC and Steven A. Dimler of Stephens City, VA; siblings Ellen Marie Riggie, Wanda Riggie of Milton, DE, Patricia Andrews (Craig) of Westminster and Linda V. Jackson of Ellicott City. She is also survived by sisters-in-law Barbara Frey of Catonsville and Jane D. Marx (Charles) of Richmond, VA; brothers-in-law Thomas K. Dimler of Middle River and John D. Roth of Timonium and grandchildren Christopher, Ashleigh and Matthew of Irmo, SC and several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by infant son Michael, brothers Richard T. Riggie, Jr., Robert A. Riggie and Gregory Riggie; brothers-in-law Reverend G. Richard Dimler, S.J. and William Frey and sister-in-law Mary Claire Roth.
A Catholic Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00a.m. on Thursday March 4, at St. Johns Catholic Church, 43 Monroe St Westminster, MD. Service Livestream available at:
