Michael Cavanaugh Obituary

Michael Ronan Cavanaugh, 73, of Finksburg, passed away on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at home. He was born December 10, 1947 in Baltimore, a son of the late Paul Cavanaugh and Leona Williams Cavanaugh. He served his country with the US Army in Vietnam and with a 32 year career in the Department of Defense. On May 9, 1981 Michael was united in marriage to Susan Bubniak Cavanaugh, who survives.

In retirement, Michael enjoyed collecting and playing guitars, and listening to his vast music collection. He was a fan of all motorsports and English soccer.

Besides his beloved wife, he is survived by his daughter Megan (Jay) Barrett and 3 grandchildren; brothers- and sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Joseph Cavanaugh.
