Michael Kevin Hayes, 62, of Westminster, died suddenly on Saturday, June 29, 2024. Born March 8, 1962 in Maryland, he was the loving husband and best friend of 33 years to Jamie Lynn Hayes.
Before retiring he was a heavy equipment mechanic. Michael loved vacationing in the islands, going to the beach and always wearing a Hawaiian shirt. He especially loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his children Lyndsay Wunder, Christopher Ostrander, Jr. and his wife Jennifer and Stephanie Blakney; grandchildren Gunnar Hollis Wunder, Rowan James Wunder, Henry Bennett Ostrander, Penelope Lou Ostrander and Preston James Winton; brothers Thomas Hayes and wife Denise, Richard Hayes and wife Deborah, Wayne Hayes and wife Lynn; sister-in-law Linda Hayes and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Francis Xavier Hayes and Elizabeth Mae Terry Hayes and his brother David Hayes.
