Michael Joseph Nash, 25, of Westminster, Maryland, passed away on November 30, 2024, following a brief hospitalization. Michael was born May 5, 1999, the son of Michael Bruce and the late Paula (Howard) Nash.
He graduated from Hereford High School in 2017, where he was a member of the football team and champion in Track and Field. He was named the North County News Male Athlete of the Year after winning Baltimore County, regional, and state championships in shot put and discus in 2017. Michael worked for TCC, a Verizon Authorized Retailer.
Michael was a happy and generous young man who was liked by all who knew him. He was a fan of the Baltimore Ravens, Terps, enjoyed music, and spending time with family and friends. Michael was at his best when with his fiancee and son and he was excitedly awaiting the arrival of his second son in 2025.
Remaining to cherish Michael’s memory are fiancee Samantha Staub and sons Tobyn and Finan (expected 2025) Nash; brother Christopher, sister Ashley (Ryan) Dice, nephew Atlas Dice, grandmother Shirley (Bob) Swift, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
In addition to his mother, preceding Michael in death are grandfather Richard Howard, grandparents Frederick Sr. and Shirley Nash, and nephew Thoren Dice.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 5, 2024 from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main Street, Westminster, Maryland. Funeral/Memorial services will be Friday, December 6, 2024 at 3pm at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services. Interment will be private.
