Michael Sayers Obituary

Michael Wilson Sayers, 78, of Sykesville, died on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at his home. Born October 24, 1944, in Morgantown, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Wilson Brown Sayers and Pauline Bell Klingman Sayers. He was the loving companion of 21 years to Elizabeth Ann Garrison.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was proud to be an MP.

Mike enjoyed attending and watching on TV, NASCAR, sprint cars and dirt bike racing. He also enjoyed camping trips in their RV. He loved their Pugs, both present and past ones. He also enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

He is survived by his son Scott Edward Sayers and 2 granddaughters; brother-in-law Chuck Menter and sister-in-law Sherry Menter Kramer.

He was predeceased by his wife Dawn Menter Sayers and his son Michael Wilson Sayers, Jr.

Services and interment will be private.
