Michael Clifford Shelton

Michael C. Shelton, 67, of Manchester, died Tuesday night, April 20, 2021 at the Dove House.  Born January 17, 1954 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Henry D. Shelton and Catherine Price Shelton Murrell.  Survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Barbara Elizabeth Hypes Shelton.

He graduated from Westminster High School in 1973.  He was employed as a truck driver and enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, hunting, camping and spending time with his granddaughter.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his granddaughter Khloe Shelton of Manchester, brother Bruce Shelton and wife Myretta of Sevierville, TN; nieces, nephews and cousins. 

He was predeceased by his daughter Samantha Danielle Shelton and Foster brother David Knight.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 25, 2021 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.  Funeral services will begin at 3:00 p.m., with Deacon Charles Barnhart officiating.  Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023.
