Mildred Lillian “Millie” Mann, 92, of Westminster, MD, died Friday, June 26, 2026 at Lorien in Taneytown, with her loving family by her side. Born February 13, 1934 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Mildred (Wewera) Stumpfel. Twice married she was the wife of the late Donald Charles Risner and Henry Mann who died January 1, 2016.

She graduated from Eastern High School. Before retiring she worked as a Switch Board Operator for Stebbins-Anderson, worked several years at Saco Supply, and volunteered at Carroll Hospital Center, where she received her 20-year pin.  She taught CCD 5th grade at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.  Millie loved the ocean, beach and visiting eastern shore light houses. She had a summer home with her husband, Henry in Chincoteague, Virginia, where they loved to fish and enjoy their summers for many years. Millie loved spending time with her grandchildren, some of Millie's grandchildren have memories of the pony swim from Assateague over to Chincoteague. Millie will always be remembered walking the beaches looking for that special seashell.

She is survived by 2 children Michael Risner (Kelli) of Manchester and Suzanne Stout (Michael) of Westminster; daughter-in-law Karen Risner of Hampstead; 2 step-children Earl Mann and Michele Cohen, 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by 2 sons Mark W. Risner and Donald E. Risner, step-daughter Elaine Pearlstein, and brother Ronald Stumpfel.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 16, 2026 from 6-8 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster, MD.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026 at 11 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church, 43 Monroe St., Westminster, MD. Interment will follow at Garrison Forest Cemetery, 11501 Garrison Forest Rd, Owings Mills, MD 21117 at 1 p.m.

Mildred had a deep and lifelong passion for lighthouses, finding peace and inspiration in their guiding beacons. To honor this love, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to the United States Lighthouse Society.
