Nicole Danielle Borrelli, 55, of Frederick, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at home. Born at GBMC on January 29, 1971, in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of Dr. Niel Joel Borrelli and the late JoAnne Kay Kissinger Borrelli. She was the loving mother to her beautiful daughter Gabriella Francesca Borrelli.

Nicole graduated from Frostburg University and received her Master's degree in reading specialist education from Western Maryland College. She taught kindergarten and first grade at Eldersburg Elementary School for 22 years. In 2015 and 2016 she was a candidate for the teacher of the year award in Carroll County, representing Eldersburg Elementary School, and was also nominated as an outstanding teacher multiple times at Eldersburg Elementary School.

Nicole loved to read, draw, go to the beach, spread positivity and most of all, spend time with her daughter.

In addition to her mother, she was predeceased by her sister, Francesca Borrelli-Johnson.
