Norris Lee Sandridge

Norris Lee Sandridge, 67, of Littlestown, PA, formerly of Taneytown, MD, died Saturday, June 11, 2022, at his home.  Born October 10, 1954 in Harrisonburg, VA, he was the son of the late Ruth (Whitmer) Seitler and Norris Lynwood Sandridge.  He is survived by his beloved wife, Paula Jane Sandridge. 

In his earlier years, he worked as an elementary school teacher and later worked as a sales representative for several educational textbook publishers.  He was active in his children’s lives with PTO, marching band boosters and coaching tennis at FSK High School.  In retirement, he enjoyed being a substitute teacher, gardening and traveling.

Besides his wife, he is survived by children Melinda F. Benedict and husband Bradley of Allentown, PA and Michael L. Sandridge and wife Allison Steer of Catonsville, MD; a brother William “Bill” Murphy and wife Sue of Westminster; grandchildren Jacob Lee, Kelsey Jane and Brooke Olivia.

A family gathering to celebrate his life will be private.
