Pamela "Pam" Evelyn DeShong

Pamela Evelyn DeShong, 72, of Westminster, died Tuesday, February 16, 2026 at Carroll Hospital Center. Born July 14, 1953 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Leo Gerard Rosendale and Laura Elizabeth Fritz Rosendale. Her husband Dennis Edward DeShong died July 17, 2015.

She graduated from Franklin High School in 1971. She enjoyed being a mom, music and playing the guitar. She was a member of The 800 Club.

She is survived by her sons Nathaniel DeShong, Brandon DeShong and Corey DeShong and wife Kim all of Westminster and daughter Melodie DeShong of Hampstead; brothers Leo Rosendale of Westminster, her twin brother Patrick Rosendale of Westminster and a sister Bonnie Pagano of Waynesboro, PA; grandchildren Terrell Bowman, Carmaya Bowman, Landyn Windsor, Noah DeShong, Hudson DeShong and Oliver DeShong.

She was predeceased by siblings Kathryn Bechtel and Kenneth Warren. The family will receive friends from 5 – 6:30 p.m. on Friday, February 20, 2026 at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 East Main Street, Westminster, MD. A memorial service will begin at 6:30 p.m.
