Pearl Kirby Obituary

Pearl Elizabeth Kirby, 96, of Westminster, died Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Carroll Lutheran Village Health Care Center. Born January 10, 1927 in Pocomoke City. She was the daughter of the late Harry Powell and Alma Dennis Powell.

Before retiring she was a school teacher.

Survived by three children; Stephen A. Kirby ( Patricia) of Acworth, GA; Sharon P. Staub (William) of Taneytown, MD and Susan L. Jelen (Robert) of Queenstown, MD; 5 grandchildren William Joseph Staub Jr. (Tasha), Christopher Michael Staub (Shannon), Kimberly Kirby, Michael Robert Jelen (Ashley) and Erika Jelen Caldwell (Chris). Also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her brother Leroy Powell.

Services and interment will be private.
