Preston Andrew Carbaugh

Preston Andrew Carbaugh, died on September 3, 2023, in Westminster.  Born July 31, 1951, in Mercersburg, PA, he was the son of the late Donald Paul Carbaugh and Carrie Airing Carbaugh. He was the husband of Cynthia Jean Moser Carbaugh who died on January 3, 2021.

Before retiring he worked at the Taney Corporation, in Taneytown. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by daughters Shawnee R. Carbaugh and fiancé Brandon Showe of Hagerstown; sisters Vada May, Hattie Eckenrode, of Westminster; Liz Clagett of Pennsylvania; brother Rick Carbaugh of Westminster; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by daughter, Star Carbaugh, who died February 27, 1988.

Services and internment will be private.
