Raymond Eugene McMasters

Raymond “Ray” Eugene McMasters, 60, of Westminster, died Monday, July 30, 2018, at the Dove House.  Born on August 2, 1957 in Ohio, he was the son of the late Bert McMasters, Jr. and Elizabeth Jane Koss McMasters.  He was raised by his late grandparents, Bert McMasters, Sr., and Alice Marie McMasters. He is survived by his loving wife Kristen Stevens McMasters.

He was employed as an I.T. Systems Manager at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid.  He was a member of St. Benjamin’s Lutheran Church where he served as past Treasurer and was on the Lawn and Cemetery Committee.  He was a Chief Judge for the Board of Elections.  He enjoyed gardening, traveling and was an avid fan of the Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter Jennifer Lynn McMasters of Florida; granddaughter Taylor Lynn Willson, sister Pamela Price and husband Robert of Johnstown, Pa., brother Richard McMasters and wife Patricia of Clarks Summit, Pa., sisters and brothers-in-laws Elizabeth and Dale Gillham of Orlando, Florida; Carl and Mitzi Stevens of Orlando, Florida and father-in-law William R. Stevens of Kissimmee, Florida.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 3, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at Fletcher Funeral and Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Benjamin’s Lutheran Church, 700 Kriders Cemetery Road, Westminster, with his Pastor, Rev. David S. Schafer officiating.  Interment will be in Kriders Church Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the St. Benjamin’s Lutheran Church General Fund.
