Richard Wayne Garver

Richard (Rick) Wayne Garver, 79 of Westminster, MD died at home peacefully with family members by his side on Thursday July 17, 2025. Born June 5, 1946 he was the son of deceased parents Sterling E and Margaret May Garver. He married his one and only true love, wife Kathleen Garver (Reisberg) on December 15, 1973. They enjoyed a wonderful, fully devoted life to each other for 51+years.

He was a Westminster resident his entire life that served in the Army Reserves for 6 years and worked as a furniture upholster with his wife and father. He loved animals and competing in black powder competitions with his brother in-law Eddie Robosson (deceased).

He is survived by his wife Kathleen, daughter Julie Putnam, son in-law Shawn Putnam Sr., grandson Shawn Putnam Jr, sister Barbara Clingan and many other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 1:30 p.m. at Grace Fellowship Chapel, 20 Bell Rd, Westminster, MD 21158.
