Richard Hunter Locke, 72, of Westminster, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Carroll Hospital Center. Born November 27, 1951 in Tennessee, he was the son of the late James Hunter Locke and Mary Virginia Ashby Locke. He was the loving husband of 31 years to Elaine Paula Locke. Richard loved listening to music, going to concerts, attending sporting events and watching Maryland basketball and the Ravens. He enjoyed spending time with family, friends and the family dog Rose Marie.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his sons Jonathan Hunter Locke and Brandon James Locke and granddaughter Oakley Elizabeth Fairbank.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 from 1:30 – 4:30 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 East Main Street, Westminster, Maryland 21157.
