Richard Brian Ogle Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Richard Brian Ogle, age 56, on March 18, 2025, at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster, MD.
Born in Baltimore to the late Gloria and Cecil Ogle, Richard made his home in Carroll County, where he spent his life working in the family construction business. He found great joy and fulfillment in his work, contributing to the community and supporting those around him.
Richard was an avid Baltimore Ravens fan, and his passion for the team was infectious. He also had a deep love for sci-fi, often immersing himself in movies and shows that allowed him to explore new worlds and ideas. He was known for his great sense of humor, his ability to calm others in times of distress, and for his kind and gentle nature. Though he was often shy at first, once Richard warmed up, he could light up any room with his presence.
Richard leaves behind his beloved wife, Tammy Ogle, and their five children: Danielle Yeshnik, Matthew Ogle, Chelsea Ogle, Nicholas Ogle, and Nathan Ogle. He also leaves behind his many grandchildren, who will cherish the memories of their time with him. He is survived by his brothers, Ronald, David, and Kevin Ogle, as well as his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family members. Richard was preceded in death by his sister, Victoria Bryant.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, March 27th, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Fletchers Funeral Home in Westminster, MD, with a service to follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Richard’s memory to the American Diabetes Association: www.diabetes.org
