It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved husband and father, Richard Jung Watson, who left us on January 1, 2025 at the age of 82. He was a loving husband to his wife Mary for 58 years, a steadfast and compassionate father to his 2 children: Mac and Maggie.  A man of humor; his warmth and kindness made those around him feel at ease.

Born on November 9, 1942, to Margaret Jung Watson and Richard A. Watson in Baltimore.  His career started in the banking profession and become the Executive Director of the American Institute of Banking.  Richard then was the Executive Director of the Maryland  SPCA, Board member of Lupus Mid-Atlantic and President and Board member of the PAR fund- Baltimore County Police Assistance and Relief.

He is survived by his wife, Mary McQuillan Watson, son Richard M. Watson, and daughter Maggie M. Rauser, as well as 4 Grandchildren and 1 Great Granddaughter.

Services and interment private.
