Richard William “Dick” Bryant, 76, of Shinglehouse, PA, died Sunday, August 25, 2024, at his son’s residence in Union Bridge, with his family at his side. Born January 24, 1948 in Olean, NY, he was the son of the late William John Bryant and Mildred (Miller) Bryant. He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Cheryle Bryant.
Before retiring Dick worked in factory production and held various jobs after. He enjoyed trapping, hunting, fishing and anything outdoors. He also coached little league baseball and basketball.
Besides his wife, he is survived by children Amber Costello (Jim) of Shinglehouse, PA; Bart Bryant (Debbie) of Carthage, NC; and Beau Bryant (Angie) of Union Bridge, MD; grandchildren Kirk, Kamrie, Kent, Cody, Gage, Connor, Cooper, Jagger, Cash and Sloan, great-grandchildren Freya, Thea, Eva, Malin and Roman, and a sister Rachel “Cookie” Amidon.
He was predeceased by a brother Carl “Abe” Bryant.
Celebration of Life Services will be held at a later date.
