Rikiko Tanaka Cason Poole

Rikiko Tanaka Cason Poole, 78, of Wilmington, Del. died Sunday, July 26, 2009 at her daughter's residence in Westminster. Born April 10, 1931 in Aomori, Japan she was the wife of Clarence S. Poole of Wilmington, Del. She worked for the Delaware Commission for the Blind. She also volunteered for the American Cancer Society and CAP. Besides her husband, she is survived by daughters JoAnne Miller of Westminster, Isabelle Saylor of Emmitsburg, Deanna Jean Cason and Amy Cason, sons Matthew Cason of Wilmington, Del., James Cason Jr. of Frederick, granddaughters Shannon Goins, Holly Whitestone, Jessica Cason, 5 great-grandchildren and numerous brothers and sisters in Japan. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 8, 2009 at 11 A.M. at Fletcher Funeral Home, 254 E. Main St., Westminster. Online condolences may be offered at www.fletcherfuneralhome.net.
