Robert Cope Obituary

Robert Walton Cope, 92, of Westminster, died Thursday, October 5, 2023, at Carroll Lutheran Village. Born December 5, 1930 in Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Maude (Brown) Cope and Harry Lloyd Cope.

Before retiring he worked as an Engineer for the government. After retirement he bought and renovated a farm in Frederick where he lived before moving into Carroll Lutheran Village. Upon moving into Carroll Lutheran, Robert funded and designed the croquet court at Carroll Lutheran Village, which was an important hobby to him.

He is survived by children Bonnie Wolfe, James, Jeffrey and Gregory Cope and brother Donald Cope. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

A Celebration of Life will be held in his apartment, 205 St. Mark Way #126, 0n Monday, October 23, 2023 from 2 to 4:00 p.m. Everyone is invited to stop by.
