Robert Dimitri

Robert Dimitri, 56, of Taneytown, died unexpectedly on Friday, May 22, 2020 in Rockville, Maryland. Born on July 31, 1963 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late James “Jimmy” Dimitri and Marion Dimitri. He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years Sharon Dimitri.

Robert spent his career in the Union as a painter. He enjoyed hunting, working on his fish pond, and spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife he is survived by son Robert “Bobby” Dimitri and wife Brittany of Littlestown, PA; daughter Kelly Drechsler-Rider of Littlestown, PA; two brothers Chris and Zach Dimitri; and eight grandchildren Josh Carder, Christy Drechsler, Jaden Dimitri, Sophia Dimitri, Korre Rider, Isaiah Rider, Taleigha Rider, and Brylynn Drechsler.

He was predeceased by son-in-law Kirk Rider.

Celebration of Life services will be held at a later date.
