Robert Earl Bowie, 65, of Westminster, MD passed peacefully on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Carroll Hospital Center.
Born December 1, 1955 in Waynesboro, PA, he was the son of the late James Earl Bowie, Jr. and Doris Schildt Bowie.
Rob served in the United States Navy, on the USS Enterprise and traveled extensively during his tenure. After the Navy, he worked in concrete construction. He will be remembered as an avid hunter, fisherman, a NASCAR enthusiast, and a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan.
He is survived by children, Jason Bowie of Baltimore, Zachary Bowie of Shreveport, LA, and Alexander Bowie of Scotland, PA; brother Shane Bowie and wife Virginia of Aspers, PA, brother Jason Bowie Sr. and wife Kimberly of Taneytown, sisters Korrina Reaves and Vicki Lowman, both of Westminster, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother Todd Bowie.
