Robert Thomas Meredith, Sr., 88, of Taneytown, died Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at Wellspan York Hospital.  Born March 16, 1936 in Pikesville, he was the son of the late Margaret (Craig) Meredith and Rae Meredith.  He was the beloved husband of Nancy Louise Meredith.

Bob worked as a carpenter and enjoyed building and designing anything with construction.  He was a joker and made everyone laugh.  He also enjoyed gardening.

Besides his wife, he is survived by children and spouses Sandra Kennedy (John), Robert Meredith, Jr. (Tina), Joyce Watson, Sharon Ditzel (John) and Jennifer Basurto, 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. 

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.  Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m.  Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg.
