Robert William “Bob” Karl, 78, of Westminster, died Friday, January 10, 2025, at Inova Fairfax Hospital. Born October 17, 1946 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Patricia (Kennedy) Karl and William Karl. He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Vicki Jean Karl.
Before retiring Bob worked as a carpenter and was also a truck driver. He enjoyed fishing, playing poker, chess and NASCAR.
Besides his wife, he is survived by children Paul Karl (Chasity), Robin Shorb (Jeff), Tammy Sue Gonzalez (Victor) and Michael Karl, grandchildren Trey Peacock, Colin Hastings and Blake Karl.
He was predeceased by granddaughter Kaylee Marie Price.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 16, 2025 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster. Funeral services will begin at 7:30 p.m. Interment will be private.
