Robert Arland “Bob” Pennington, 77, of Westminster, died Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at BridgingLife Dove House. Born November 4, 1945 in Saltville, VA, he was the son of the late Eva L. Hopkins Pennington and William D. Pennington. He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Dolores Pennington.

Before retiring he worked as an Expeditor for Black and Decker. He was a veteran of the Army and enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling and all sports.

Besides his wife, he is survived by son Robert Pennington Jr. of Westminster, daughter Michele Boone of Westminster; siblings Vanessa Pennington, Malcolm Pennington, Nancy Kirby, Ronald Lee Pennington and Teresa McGowen, grandsons Coy Boone and William Brandt, great-grandchildren Austin Mayne, Ryker Boone, Tyr Boone and Gunner Boone.

He was predeceased by brother James Pennington and great-granddaughter Piper Boone.

Private memorial services will be held by the family and the inurnment will be held at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg.
