Rodger C. Jones

Rodger C. Jones, 62, of Westminster, died on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at Westminster Healthcare Center. Born on October 22, 1957 in Maryland, he was the son of the late Harry Sylvester Jones and Elizabeth “Betty” Riley Jones. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Stacey Jones.

Rodger grew up playing backyard sports with his siblings and friends and continued to participate in sports as he got older whether it was coaching his son in baseball, watching his daughters perform ballet and volleyball, or being an avid fan of the Orioles and Ravens. Rodger loved to build and tinker around the house, where he built the backyard decks and the pool where many memorable family gathering were had. Rodger was the hardest of workers and strived at all times to create a welcome and loving environment for everyone.

Rodger was a devoted Father, Brother and Grandfather. He is survived by his three children, Aaron Jones and wife Kathleen of Parkville, Sarah Weller and husband Matthew of Martinsburg, WV., and Hannah Jones of Westminster; siblings David Jones of Westminster, Deborah Mcabee and husband Curt of York PA, and Cheryl Anderson and husband Lauren of Owings Mills; one grandchild Piper Jones; and four step-grandchildren Christian, Kyra, Dylan, and Cayden.

He was predeceased by one brother Richard Jones.
