Ronald Edward “Ronnie” Morningstar, 65, of Westminster, died Sunday evening December 3, 2023, at Sinai Hospital. Born January 11, 1958 in Hanover, PA, he was the son of Margaret “Peggy” Keefer Morningstar of Westminster.

Ronnie worked at the Walmart in Westminster for 30 years. He went to Carroll Springs School and the Arc of Carroll County. He was kind, compassionate and he enjoyed watching the Orioles and Ravens. He talked to his buddies Tony, Jason and Paul every day. He was a member of Westminster United Methodist Church.

Besides his mother, he is survived by his siblings Richard V. Morningstar (Peggy) of Richmond, VA, Judith E. Munroe (William) of Severna Park, MD, Terry L. Morningstar (Gail) of Westminster, MD; nephew Jonathon Farrell, Uncle Robert E. Keefer and Aunt Shirley Dell. He is also survived by his cousins.

He was predeceased by his father Elvin Vance Morningstar.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 11, 2023 from 5 – 7 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 East Main Street, Westminster, MD 21157. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 7:00 p.m., with Rev. Kenneth Humbert officiating.
