Ronay Benedict Weigand, Sr.

On April 22, 2021, Ronay Benedict Weigand, Sr., 77, of Westminster, passed away at Carroll Hospital Center. He was the beloved husband for 30 years of Elizabeth “Betty” Weigand. He was the devoted father of Ronay Weigand, Jr. and his wife Regina; John Martin Weigand and his wife Paula; Lisa VanBlargan and her husband Fran; Patricia Goldman and her husband Richard and Franklin Blum, Jr. and his wife Susan. He was the cherished grandfather to 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Ron was the son of the late Dorothe (Polski) Weigand and John Joseph Weigand, Jr. He served in the Army, was a jack of all trades and loved music and cars. He was predeceased by his former wife Rosalee Weigand.

Family will receive friends on Monday, April 26, 2021 from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation, 254 E. Main Street, Westminster.

Prayer service will be held on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Moreland Memorial Park in Parkville.
