Ruth Ann Ensor

Ruth Ann Ensor, 84, of Westminster, died Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at BridgingLife Dove House.  Born July 6, 1939 in Chicago, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Helen (Jastraub) Olivieri and Dr. Ernest P. Olivieri.  She was the beloved wife of Jerry A. Ensor, her husband of 64 years.

She worked as a substitute teacher and also taught kindergarten.  Ruth enjoyed spending time with family, reading and bowling.  She was a member of St. John Catholic Church and member of the Red Hat Society.

Besides her husband, she is survived by children Joseph Ensor (Linda) of Finksburg; Michael E. Ensor (Amy) of Westminster; Mary H. Perry (James) of Westminster and Julie Chatham (Jason) of Upperco; grandchildren Peter Ensor, Michael S. Ensor (Colleen), Jennifer Fisher (Josh), Melissa Ensor (Liam), Dylan Perry (Brianna), LeAnn Perry, Steven Chatham, and Hunter Chatham, great-grandchildren Benjamin and Ryan Ensor and Jackson and Julianna Fisher.

She was predeceased by a grandson Andrew Ensor.

Private graveside services will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery in Emmitsburg, MD.
