Scott Robert Caples, 87, of Westminster, died Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at his residence. Born January 11, 1938 he was the son of the late Catherine and William Caples. He is survived by his beloved wife of 69 years, Rochella “Tina” Caples.
Before retiring Scott worked as a carpenter for the Union. He was a member of the Westminster Moose Lodge, VFW and American Legion. He enjoyed playing cards with his buddies, yard work, landscaping and spending time with his family.
Besides his wife, he is survived by daughter Karen Kuhn and husband Jeff of Westminster; beloved grandsons Justin Kibler and Ryan Kuhn and great-grandsons Cayden and Dametri Trent.
He was predeceased by his daughter Kim E. Zacarias, twin brother, Donald, brothers Roman and Glen, sisters Geneva, Eileen, Margaret and Joyce and grandson James “Jason” Kibler.
The family will receive friends on Monday, June 30, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster. Funeral services will begin at 12 p.m. Inurnment will follow at Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery in Shipley.
