Shelby Elaine DeRita, 50, of Finksburg, died Thursday, January 9, 2025, at Carroll Hospital Center.  Born January 11, 1974 in Winston Salem, NC, she was the daughter of Shelby Driggers Warehime and Robert C. Warehime, Jr.

She was a homemaker.  Shelby enjoyed going to the beach, going for car rides, listening to music and hanging out with her children.

Besides her parents, she is survived by children Dylan Hixon (Natalie) of Westminster; Caleb Shelton of Westminster; and Briana Hagler of Dallastown, PA; a brother Jimmy Lee Hubbard of Paris, Kentucky and companion Edward “Ed” Ritter.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.  Funeral services will begin at 4 p.m.
