Shelly Ann Sanders, 57, of Manchester, Maryland, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on December 12, 1968, in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, Shelly was the beloved daughter of Marie E. (Krichten) Sanders and the late Daniel Kenneth Sanders.
Shelly’s greatest joy in life was her family. She cherished every moment spent with her daughters and grandchildren, who were the center of her world. She loved going to the gym with her youngest daughter, Kelsi, taking her children and nieces/nephews on hiking adventures, shopping with her daughters, and creating lasting memories at summer carnivals with her children and grandchildren. She also looked forward to playing bingo and card games with her siblings where there was never a shortage of laugher and cherished memories. Shelly’s kind heart, strength, and unconditional love will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her mother, Shelly is survived by her loving daughters, Ashley M. Calderone, Kaylee E. Crum, and Kelsi B. Crum; her siblings, Sharon Sanders-Hughes, Doug Sanders, Jenny Sanders, and Mary Esworthy, and her cherished grandchildren, Alivia Esworthy, Jace Fewster, Athena Bishop, and Bianca Barnes. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
She was predeceased by her father, Daniel Kenneth Sanders, and her beloved brother, Brian Sanders.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 2, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg.
Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing that Shelly’s love, laughter, and beautiful spirit will live on through the family she adored. She will be forever loved, forever remembered, and forever missed.
